Is there a minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is one month.
How much notice do I need to provide to rent a unit?
14 Days notice via email is required.
How often can I access my storage unit?
Your can access your unit as often as you like between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturday.
Can anyone else access my unit?
You control who has access to your unit. When you rent your space, you will be required to supply your own padlock to secure your unit. Padlocks can be purchased from us. You control the key to your unit and only those you permit to access your unit will be able to do so.
Is there anything I cannot store?
Items that can be stored at a self-storage facility are limited by law. Items that cannot be stored include illegal, stolen or dangerous items; live animals and plants; food items; flammable, explosive, perishable, toxic or environmentally hazardous materials.
Further to this, items requiring environmentally controlled conditions should not be stored. See below for more details
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, as with all standard Storage Association of Australasia agreements, a refundable deposit is payable up front.
How can I pay for the storage unit?
Units may be paid for by direct deposit or credit card.
Are the units clean, dry and free of pests?
Storage units are specially designed and regularly maintained to ensure they are kept dry and secure. Every effort is made to provide a pest-free environment and this includes regular preventative fumigation.
Are my possessions insured against damage?
Insuring your possessions is always recommended. We recommend you discuss your options with your home and contents insurance provider.

To ensure the safety of all customers, staff, and the facility, we’re issuing an important reminder about items that cannot be stored inside your unit. These restrictions are in place to prevent fire hazards, chemical risks, contamination, pest issues and other dangers.
Please take a moment to review the following list of strictly prohibited items, as outlined in our facility policy:
🚫Flammable and Combustible Materials
The following items present a serious fire and explosion risk and are not allowed:
· Petrol, diesel, kerosene
· Propane, butane, and all pressurised gases
· Fireworks, explosives, ammunition
· Paints, solvents, thinners, turpentine
⚠️Chemicals and Toxic Substances
These items pose health, corrosion, or contamination risks:
· Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides
· Acids, bases, and corrosive chemicals
· Pool treatment chemicals
· Industrial or strong cleaning chemicals
🍃Perishable or Living Items
To avoid pests, odours, and spoilage:
· Fresh or frozen food
· Plants or animals
· Items that can rot or grow mould
· Radioactive materials
🔋Other Dangerous Items
These may pose ignition, pressure, or contamination risks:
· Car batteries or large lithium-ion batteries
· Pressure vessels
· Items that emit strong odours or attract pests
· Anything that may spontaneously combust
Important Policy Notice
Storing any prohibited item is a breach of our rental agreement. Violations may result in immediate termination of your agreement and disposal of restricted items.
